You know what is really, really cool? Stop motion animation.
It’s an art form that has been around for a really long time. In a world filled with technology to bring our creative ideas to life, it is still probably the form of animation that fascinates me the most.
PES is a stop motion filmmaker, today I stumbled onto one of his videos. I saw this one years ago, and after watching it again today, I still absolutely love it.
The short is entitled “Fresh Guacamole.” It features a character taking physical objects like dice, a golf ball and even a grenade and turning them into something tasty.
Who knew a video like this could be so interesting to watch? The combination of the sounds and the clay like look of the objects make it endlessly satisfying too!
It was even nominated for an Academy Award back in 2013!
