Did you watch the big game the other night? Of course you did! What was you favorite commercial?
Well….mine was a throwback to one of my favorite movies from 1993. Groundhog Day!
Jeep did a fantastic job recreating scenes from this movie. They even got Bill Murray back!
Additionally Stephen Tobolowsky , Brian Doyle-Murray and the Groundhog reprise their roles in the commercial.
It also felt good to hear Sonny and Cher’s “I Got You Babe” kick off the ad and see Phil Connors waking up again in Punxsutawney, PA! Even though he may have not felt the same way…..
I think Jeep really nailed this ad. They took advantage of the big game falling on February 2, Groundhog Day! That is genius advertising. The kind that makes me smile.
