Dolly Parton is now officially a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee!

After initially respectfully turning down the nomination, Parton recently had a change of heart. And now she is heading to the Hall!

Pat Benatar, Duran Duran, Eminem, Eurythmics, Lionel Richie, Carly Simon, Judas Priest and Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis were also announced as inductees today along with Parton.

Even though Parton is widely know for her country music, her influence into other genres and pop culture is a great one that can’t be overlooked. In fact, it begs the question, after being in films, opening an amusement park and co-writing a novel, what hasn’t Dolly done?

Other country artists have been inducted in the past as well, including Hank Williams, Bill Monroe and Johnny Cash.

Congrats Dolly!! You have earned this honor and so much more!!
