It got me thinking, what is my number one favorite CMA Awards moment?

That is a tough question, because there are tons of amazing moments! History tends to be made year after year on this special night.

What I love most about the CMAs, is that the show always finds a way to pay tribute to country music’s traditions and history.

That’s why my absolute favorite CMA moment comes from the 50th show a few years back during the program’s opening.

What a way to start a show! So many amazing acts from country music’s past and present on one stage together! It was like the Avengers of country music!!

Ahead of the 50th CMA Awards, they put out this amazing music video featuring many of the artists in this performance and a lot more!

Then a few years later, the CMAs did it again! This time, with a Women of Country performance!

And tonight, I’m sure we will be in for a treat!! Country music history will be made!
