Since the first time I tried it, I’ve always loved red beans and rice but had never made it. After doing some recipe research I combined what I learned to create a dish I thought my family would love… and I was right! This was flavorful but not too spicy. You could give it a little kick by using andouille sausage and adding some hot sauce. I’ve heard adding a splash of apple cider vinegar to your bowl after dishing it up is good… but didn’t have any on hand to try it. That’ll be for next time.
