Chad Taylor
Weekdays 3pm-7pm
Hello Des Moines, my name is Chad Taylor. I’m originally from Racine, Wisconsin, but really love calling central Iowa home. I’ve been blessed to experience a lot of really cool things over my career, including writing a Billboard Adult Contemporary Top 12 hit for Jordan Knight, made a cameo on VH1’s Surreal Life season three, Bands Reunited, and even played a detective in the Lionsgate horror movie ‘Killer Holiday.’ I’m a former tour manager/artist manager/DJ for members of New Kids on the Block, 98 Degrees, Color Me Badd, and more.
I’m a big believer in giving back to my community. I serve as a part-time firefighter for the city of Pleasant Hill and I’m a proud member of the city of Des Moines Transportation Safety Committee.
My wife’s name is Tracy Lynn and we have four kids that keep us very busy including Macy Lynn, a freshman at Southeast Polk High School, Makenzie, a recent graduate of Milwaukee Area Technical College, and Jon, who proudly serves in the United States Army and is a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee.
I enjoy reading, old TV shows, live concerts, and travelling with my family. I’m now a grandpa, so spending time with my granddaughter Nalani tops the list of favorite things to do when I’m not working.
You can hear me weekday’s 3-7P on 92.5 KJJY, Sunday’s 12-7P on 95 KGGO, and Saturday’s nationwide 10-3P on the Westwood One AC format. You can also subscribe to my weekly podcast show; The Chad Taylor Show and Perfectly Imperfect with Chad and Tracy.
