On Thursday, I went to see the latest DC Comics based movie, “Joker”.

Going in, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. But I had a feeling it would be something new and unique compared to previous comic book movies.

The movie was exactly that, and maybe a little more.

Joaquin Phoenix was fantastic in the title role. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if he snags the Academy Award for Best Actor!

“Joker” is also much more psychological than I thought it would be. There are a few twists and turns that I didn’t expect.  After the movie was over, I was still thinking about things that happened in it.
